Christoffel VAN SICHEM (Basel 1581 - Amsterdam 1658)
Christoffel van Sichem was a Dutch wood engraver from the Golden Age. He made woodcuts of famous people after his father, Christoffel van Sichem the Elder. He was the brother of Karel Sichem who published many of his prints. Van Sichem also made woodcuts after portraits of prominent artists. He made wood engravings for various publications and then collected and published them himself in Der zielen Lust-Hof. De Bijbelse schatkamer.
