Nat Finkelstein (Brooklyn, 1933 - October 2, 2009) was an American photographer. Finkelstein studied photography with Alexey Brodovitch, the legendary director of Harper's Bazaar, and worked as a photojournalist for the agencies "Black Star" and PIX, mainly on the political developments of Harper's Bazaar. the 1960s New York subcultures. In 1964, he joined the "Andy Warhol Factory" as a photojournalist and remained there for three years. Finkelstein has exhibited his work in more than 75 solo and group exhibitions and galleries around the world, such as the Saatchi Gallery, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Tate Modern and the Victoria and Albert Museum. His photographs are part of the collection of museums such as the Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Museum of Art and the Andy Warhol Foundation, the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, the Stedelijk Museum voor Current Art in Ghent, the Ludwig Museum in Cologne and the Center Georges Pompidou.
