Geerten Maria ten BOSCH (Dordrecht, 21 April 1959) is a Dutch graphic designer, typographer and illustrator. She studied graphic design at the Royal Academy in The Hague. She co-founded the children's magazine St. Kitts van de Windse in 1988 with Clara Linders. The magazine had only one volume, but in that period the collaboration with Anne Vegter came about. Together they made the children's book The Lady and the Rhinoceros, for which they received the Woutertje Pieterse Prize in 1990. A year later, Ten Bosch received a Flag & Wimpel for her illustrations in Verse Bekken by Anne Vegter.
She illustrated Toon Tellegen's animal stories, which appeared on the children's page of NRC Handelsblad. In 1996 she was awarded the Gouden Penseel for her illustrations in Tellegen's book The Birthday of the Squirrel. With Clara Linders she made the picture book The House of Marie (1998), which consists of ten booklets, which together form a jigsaw puzzle. In each booklet an object or piece of furniture from the house is discussed. Together with Moritz Ebinger she made a wall drawing for the library of Maassluis (2001).
Her parents Lou Ten Bosch and Ank Stumpel, her brother Lodewijk and her sisters Maricée, Simone and Judith are also visual artists. In 2004 Geerten Ten Bosch exhibited together with her family members at the exhibition Blooming and Transience in her hometown Dordrecht.
