American Society of Media Photographers

The American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) came into existence in 1944 when a group of photographers gathered in agreement that an official association was needed. Soon the small group becomes more and more visible, and more and more people hear about it. ASMP has championed the rights of magazine photographers over the years.
