Founded in 1956
The worldwide Association for Mouth and Foot Painters is an artists' association that only includes artists who are unable to paint with their hands due to a disability or illness. The organization was founded by seventeen artists who painted with mouth or foot. The Society of Mouth and Foot Painters promotes social appreciation for disabled artists and their art. Indirectly, this also promotes the financial independence of these artists. The small group has now grown into an international interest group.
