Founded in 1856
Société Royale Belge des Aquarellistes was a Belgian artists' association. The association held annual exhibitions in varying locations. Members were Belgians and Dutch people living in Brussels. Société Royale Belge des Aquarellistes played a role in the distribution of watercolors in Europe. Similar associations arose in other countries, such as the Hollandsche Teekenmaatschappij in 1876.
