Artists' association Laren-Blaricum
The Association for Visual Arts Laren-Blaricum was founded from the artists' association 'De Tien', nowadays the Artists' Association Laren-Blaricum. The association focuses on regional ties. This is done by selecting artists in the area of Laren, who paint, sculpt as well as more contemporary forms of art, such as photography and video. In 1935 a split arose within the Laren-Blaricum Artists' Association, which founded the Gooische Schildersvereniging. This lasted until 2005, when the Gooische and the Artists' Association Laren-Blaricum merged.
