Information about the artist: Abraham / Abram Krol (Pabianice, Lodz, Poland, January 22, 1919 – Paris, October 9, 2001), was a Polish/French painter, engraver and graphic artist. -Education: At the age of nineteen, he left his native Poland for France in 1938. After two years of study at the Technical Institute of Civil Engineering in Caen, he trained at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts d'Avignon.
