Antoinette Agathe van Hoytema (Delft 1875 - The Hague 1967)
Student of "Art exercise" in Arnhem and of HP Bremmer. She lived and worked in Brummen until 1905, then in Scheveningen and The Hague. She traveled through Italy, Spain, North and South Africa. Antoinette van Hoytema painted, watercoloured, drew and lithographed landscapes, cityscapes, portraits and still lifes in a naturalistic style.
Member of "The independents" in Amsterdam, of the Federation v. BBK and the Painters' Association "ODIS". Works in the possession of Museum Boymans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam, Gemeentemuseum and Municipal Archives in The Hague, Museum Kröller-Müller Otterlo.
