In the last 10 years of his life Armando, together with Galerie F, released a series of graphics as Giclee prints of his canvases. The work is very beautiful in color and in very good condition.

In his studio, located in an old barracks in Potsdam, just outside Berlin, the late artist worked every day on his canvases and sculptures. With the obsession and passion of an artist who lives for his art.
Armando's current work expresses a liberation. The canvases are grand and exciting abstract studies that seem to refer to mysterious and higher matters that transcend everyday life. The color has broken through again after a black/white/gray period. Sometimes in excessive red and blue monochrome, then again refined in relation to his well-known black brushstrokes. In the 1960s, Armando also made different colors of monochrome in his 'zero period'.
