Barthold (Bob) Buys (Amsterdam, March 24, 1912 - ibid., August 16, 1970) was a Dutch figurative painter. He painted and watercolored landscapes, harbor and cityscapes, portraits and flower still lifes, often in an impressionistic manner. He also illustrated several books.

Buijs studied at the Rijksinstituut Tekenleraren in Amsterdam. He worked a lot in France, in Brittany and Port-Vendres. His palette was therefore very light. He was a drawing teacher at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam and at the teacher training college in Tilburg. He was a member of the Hollandse Aquarellistenkring, De Onafhankelijken and Arti et Amicitiae. Bob Buijs was also an art critic for Het Vrije Volk and the Haarlems Dagblad.
