Czech artist Dagmar Mezricky is a painter and graphic artist who was born in 1944 in Mlade Buky as the daughter of a military doctor. She spent her childhood in Nové Město nad Váhom. Here she completed private art studies with the academic painter Juraj Krén. From 1958 to 1963 she studied graphics at the secondary school of applied arts in Bratislava. From 1963 she continued at the Academy of Art, Architecture and Design in Prague. In 1965 she emigrated to Austria, where she still lives in Hollenburg.
