De Bruyne (1940-1998) led an existence characterized by excessive alcohol consumption and a turbulent love life. He was only 57 years old, but made work with an extremely personal signature full of colour, violence, passion and eroticism. In 2015 he received a retrospective at Museum Guislain. The lithograph "Napoli" is part of a series that De Bruyne made about the mafia.
