Theodorus (Dook) Everse (1910-2005) lived and worked in Rotterdam all his life. He received his education at the Academy for Visual Arts in Rotterdam and became skilled in many areas. Everse was a monumental artist, watercolourist, pastellist, draftsman and pen artist and manufacturer of mosaics.
He was influenced by Hendrik Chabot and also had contact with Herman Bieling.
Everse had exhibitions in Boijmans van Beuningen and in the Historical Museum Rotterdam.
