Beautiful, well-known photo by Ed van der Elsken. The 'nozems' in the photo, Gerrit Kiers and Henk Hulst, were photographed in 1955 for the Accordion store AJ de Vreng & Zus at Nieuwendijk 124 in Amsterdam. The photo appeared with an article by Jan Vrijman in Vrij Nederland of August 20, 1955: De nozems van de Nieuwendijk .
