Very beautiful and large color screen print by Espen Greger Hagen Dimensions sheet 50x135 cm in perfect condition Hand signed and numbered, edition of 100 copies Number may differ from the photo. The striking and expressive style of work and the way in which Espen Hagen manages to capture the "character" of his characters through the combination of different techniques does not go unnoticed. Many exhibitions followed, including in Vancouver, Oslo, Monaco, Croatia, Massachusetts, Cologne and Trondheim. In Amsterdam alone, including the Vondelpark, Galerie Donkersloot, Beurs van Berlage, Het Magazijn and Hotel Okura, but also in The Hague (Hotel Des Indes), Maastricht and Naarden (het Arsenaal). Since the mid-1990s, Espen Hagen has worked closely with his friend Herman Brood. Espen exhibits twice in Café Dante, once together with Brood. In 1997 they exhibited together again, this time in the Arsenaal of Jan des Bouvrie in Naarden. Due to their regular joint appearances and the many paintings they produced together, Espen Hagen is often referred to as Herman Brood's protégé successor. Espen Hagen was the “coming man” in Dutch painting. Thanks to the frequent exhibitions both at home and abroad and his regular television appearances, the star of this talented artist was on the rise. On April 10, 2008, Espen Greger Hagen died of cardiac arrest.
