Pupil of J.C.Greive, P.F.Greive and Ch. Verlat.
Watercolourist, etcher and painter of figures, landscapes, still lifes, portraits, genres, interiors and cityscapes.
Member of the artists' association Arti et Amicitiae. Received the Arti medal in 1900.
