Pupil of A.Allebe and B.Wijnveld Jr; and of H.Valkenburg Painted and drew Twente landscapes and still lifes. Was a member of Arti et Amicitiae in Amsterdam. Many exhibitions in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague. Work in various museums, including the Frans Hals Museum, Haarlem, Rijksmuseum Twente in Enschede. Versatile artist.
