Jan Hoedemakers (1949) is a native of Brabant in heart and soul. He followed training for a long time with several well-known Dutch painters. Hoedemakers mostly paints with oil on panel. For his works he uses old painting techniques. His interest lies in making realistic still lifes in which a lot of attention is paid to the composition, design and lighting of the (old) objects.
