John Gordon Rideout - [to] - Jean Picquot - magnalium teapot

Rideout was the original designer of the K3 boiler.
The boiler offered here (not the k3) is from the period somewhere between 1947-1980, made in Northampton.
Magnalium is an alloy of aluminum and magnesium, made in one piece, so it cannot leak.
The handles are made of wood (plane tree).

The solid kettle is in good but much used condition, the inside is a bit dirty; the wooden handles are well attached, some light repair to a crack in the upper handle. The outside of the kettle has scratches from frequent use. Can and may be polished well.
