- In felle kleuren heeft Appel op abstraherende wijze een figuur verbeeld, in schitterende kleuren. Gesigneerd en gedateerd rechts onder 'appel 1968'
Het bedrijf Texoprint uit Boekelo nodigde van 1958 tot 1999 regelmatig merendeels Nederlandse kunstenaars uit om relatiegeschenken te ontwerpen voor de reeks ‘With the Season’s Greetings’. Diverse Cobra-kunstenaars tekenden een kleurrijk ontwerp voor de gezeefdrukte sjaals. Voor kunstenaars als Appel, Lucebert en Wolvekamp vormden de ontwerpen voor Texoprint zeldzame uitstapjes in de wereld van het textieldesign.
Deze zeefdruk is in 2014 opgenomen in de collectie van het Textielmuseum in Tilburg.Het werk wordt zeer zelden aangeboden!
In het stof is een lichtere plek te bespeuren, zie foto 2, maar is niet erg opvallend of storend. Deze is zichtbaar als het licht er op een bepaalde manier op valt. Het stof op zich heeft geen beschadigingen!
