Beautiful old cityscape of the city of Zutphen de Proosdijsteeg. Leclercq, born in Brussels (1896). Later he moved to Rotterdam with his mother. He drew and painted a lot in South Holland, but also in the Deventer and Zutphen area. Many of his works have survived in the family. Well-known in Belgium is a mural of the Grand Place in Brussels. Leclercq died in 1937 from the effects of pneumonia.
