Pol, Louis van der
Louis van der Pol werd geboren in 1896 te Den Haag en is gestorven in Abcoude in 1982.
Hij volgde een opleiding aan de Academie voor Beeldende Kunsten in Den Haag.
Louis van der Pol schilderde met een zeer losse hand en combineerde een impressionistische stijl met een brutale kwastvoering.
Vanaf 1930 was hij vooral werkzaam als kunstenaar in Parijs.
