Marcel Cockx (Herent, 11 December 1930 – Leuven, 6 November 2007) was a Flemish neo-expressionist visual artist. His work includes paintings, pastels, drawings and watercolours.
Cockx studied at the Academy of Leuven with Jan Cobbaert. He was also a teacher there from 1956 to 1985.
His work was initially characterized as dark-expressionistic and was influenced by the work of Constant Permeke. Later this evolved into a bright color expressionism. Cockx's work was shown both individually and in group exhibitions.
