• Pam Georg Rueter (name variant: Georg Rueter) was born on February 18, 1906 in Sloten near Amsterdam and died on September 10, 1998 also in Amsterdam. Pam was a son of Georg Rueter (1875-1966) and a brother of Gerarda Rueter (1904-1993).

Pam followed training at the National Academy of Visual Arts in Amsterdam and at the National Institute for the Training of Drawing Teachers. He worked as an artist in Amsterdam, Karlsruhe, Haarlem and Eindhoven, among others. His qualifications were very comprehensive [graphic artist, engraver, manufacturer of woodcuts, craftsman, monumental artist, illustrator, mosaic maker, teacher at Dekft University of Technology and teacher at the academy (Amsterdam Graphic School)]. His work focused on figure representations. In addition to traditional materials, he worked a lot with wood. As a 'producer' he is encountered in many books as an ex libris designer.
