He studied at the Berlin Academy of Arts and can be classified as a New/Young Wild, Neo-Expressionist and Violent Painting artist. The artist, who had lived in Berlin since 1981, died in 1988 at the age of just 33. In his short creative period, Thuur Camps left behind a total oeuvre of over 90 pictures.
