Provenance: Prof. dr. C.A. Smolders (1930-2021). Smolders was professor in membrane technology. In the 1990s he met Zhang Sen and was so impressed by his work, that he offered him to exhibit in the Netherlands. The exhibition was held in Galerie Yvonne Hallema (Borne) and the University of Twente (Enschede).
