Beautiful, characteristic etching by Johan Dijkstra from just before the Second World War (around 1943). From a place he depicted several times; the Dode Laan, which runs from Wierumerschouw through the meadows to the Oostumerweg. This is the only etching where the focus is not on Oostum but where he looks the other way, towards Wierumerschouw.
